Texas GOP chair calls for a 'union of states,' and the left has a cow

Texas GOP chair Allen West is calling for a civil society association of states to right some glaring wrongs on this past election. Last thing in the world he's calling for is what the left is screeching is "secession."

After the Supreme Court refused to even hear the great Texas-plus-18-states request for legal relief on participating in a clearly fraud-tainted national election, a pall descended on a lot of the U.S.

The chairman of the Texas GOP suggested this as a post–legal shutout remedy:

The Supreme Court, in tossing the Texas lawsuit that was joined by seventeen states and 106 US congressman, has decreed that a state can take unconstitutional actions and violate its own election law. Resulting in damaging effects on other states that abide by the law, while the guilty state suffers no consequences. This decision establishes a precedent that says states can violate the US constitution and not be held accountable. This decision will have far-reaching ramifications for the future of our constitutional republic. Perhaps law-abiding states should bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the constitution.

Laws? What laws?

Republican legislators have about 24 hours to appoint their own electors.

There’s no risk as Biden and his Democrats are sure to naturalize 30 million more Democratic voters who will vote the Republican legislators out of office in their next elections unless Biden is stopped within 24 hours.

Biden is a CCP shill...

The CCP is desperate for resources. Oil and grain.

They have targeted America as their solution. Open warfare on American soil is not an option. Can’t place enough boots on the ground-even with Canada’s help under the table. Nukes are not an option-destroys the breadbasket.

They have targeted us from within-and part of this incremental targeting process is the erasure of our history, culture, and economic system from the face of the world.

The Communist ideology/CCP is incompatible with the American Founders and the American legal system

It is that simple.

PDJT is the only national American leader comprehending this

Last thing in the world he's calling for is what the left is screeching is “secession.”

Not that there is anything wrong with calling for a secession of Texas from a totally corrupt, lawless USA.
After all, Texas used to be part of Mexico, then became the Republic of Texas then after some back and forth, became a state of the US.
Nothing is permanent in the history of this world.
You only got to look at the history of Europe. Countries have been formed, created and broken up over and over and over again, including the former Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia and for the former Soviet Union which have been totally broken up in just in the last 40 years alone.

Amazing how many people don’t understand that secession can take place legally. Just not unilaterally.

“state can take unconstitutional actions “

So Texas needs to that. IGNORE how many electors the Constitution says we have and instead send 270, all for Trump. If other states sue at SCOTUS, “SORRY, NO STANDING”.

These places should basically be America for themselves. If the corrupt megapolitan areas want to confiscate firearms or cheat in elections or have no immigration laws whatsoever, let them do it on their own turf.

From rhe Texas annexation treary:

“ARTICLE II.
The citizens of Texas shall be incorporated into the Union of the United States, maintained and protected in the free enjoyment of their liberty and property and admitted, as soon as may be consistent with the principles of the federal constitution, to the enjoyment of all the rights, privileges and immunities of citizens of the United States.”

I think the annexation treaty allows Texans to fully enjoy hydrocarbon rights.

I suspect Article II of the annexation treaty should make Texans exempt from federal income taxation.

Based on my basic understanding of civics, if these Republican Legislators REFUSE to send ANY electors then no one would get the 270 and then House and Senate get to decide when there isn’t 270?

In this way, we know the House would get to decide the Presidency. I also believe that in the case of a “contested” election that each STATE only gets one vote and although the Dems have the Majority of Rep’s, the Republicans have the Majority of states - see excerpt from article below:

“A 269-269 Electoral College tie or other dispute that prevents the determination of a clear winner of the presidential election would result in a contingent election, in which it would be decided by the House of Representatives, while the vice presidential race is decided by the Senate, the 12th Amendment stipulates.

While each senator gets a vote for the vice president, the House vote is determined by state delegation rather than individual lawmaker—so each state, from Alaska’s one delegate to Texas’ 36 delegates, all only get one vote each.

Democrats have a majority in the House with individual lawmakers, but Republicans hold the majority of state delegations: 26 states have a GOP majority, 22 states have a Democratic majority, while there’s a tie in Pennsylvania and the Michigan delegation has seven Democrats, six Republicans and Independent Rep. Justin Amash.

The House vote would not be decided by the House as it currently exists, but by the lawmakers elected in November, as lawmakers will be sworn in on January 3 and Congress will convene to count electoral votes January 6.

Congress has only ever decided the presidential election in 1801, 1825 and 1877, and if the House cannot reach an agreement, the 12th Amendment says the vice president would serve as president until the issue is resolved”

Now that states don’t have to follow the law, Texas should send 50,000 Republican electors and PACK THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE.

Yes.
But then Texas in particular is quite different from other states.
Texas is the one state in the union that actually has the right to secede. It was embedded in its agreement to enter the Union.

Conventional War using the military is so far is out of the question right now, but the Chinese are engaging in open warfare against the USA and it’s happening in plain sight...

The pre-cursors of Crystal Meth and Fentanyl are manufactured in China, shipped to Mexico and used by the cartels in the drug making operations and shipped to the USA....

How many Americans have died as a result ?? 10s of thousands....

If you don’t know the name Ed Calderon, look him up he’s quite an interesting story.....He was a Cop in the Federal Drug Enforcement organization in Mexico primarily in the Baja area of Mexico and is very knowledgable of the drug cartels from his days fighting them....

He’s been on the Joe Rogan and Shawn Ryan Podcasts and states Chinese companies are setting up shop in Mexico and work with the Cartels selling the whatever they need from drugs to weapons......

Why fight Americans when you can kill thousands of them thru drugs and destabilize the country without using your military and spend very little money.....

I know Texans like to believe that, but they are as misguided on this topic as they are on what true barbecue is.

https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2020/11/05/can-texas-secede-from-the-us/

https://texassecede.com/faq.php

These are just two of a multitude of articles about the myth of Texas’ right of secession being somehow different than any other state.

No, we don't. Texas was the last CSA state to be readmitted on March 30, 1870 mainly because it insisted on keeping the right to seceded. (Georgia thinks it was, but they were readmitted in 1865, then given a time-out for bad behavior during reconstruction).

Look at our constitution - no where do the words 'secede' pr secession' appear. It's a great idea and many believe it's true, but as we learned in our (mandatory) Texas History class- it's (sigh) no longer true.

We also gave up the right to split into 5 separate states. That's too bad as it would have protected the rest of Texas from Austin long ago.

They don’t need to have the illegals vote out any republican politicians as we have just seen in this election.

They have the fraud all in place and NOBODY is doing a darned thing to stop it.

I suspect that the influx of illegals is to destabilize our society even more with criminal activity and make your average citizen afraid to even go anywhere any more.

Having a criminal element in control makes it easier for the government to enact and control the country with the promise of safety and stability.
