about 5,000 age 9 and under have died across approx 77 countries reporting age at death (and I’m assuming the Unicef figures below are worldwide) Not enough to justify immunizing any child under 10 , in my opinion

11,700 deaths in children under 20 with 58% in those 10 to 20 and 42% (about 5,000) in children 9 and under:

I share your opinion. Did they categorize their stats into 'healthy' and 'had underlying conditions?'

How deadly is Covid-19 to children anyway?

Provisional COVID-19 Deaths: Focus on Ages 0-18 Years NCHS and CDC - Data Last Updated November 10, 2021

Age group - 0 to 4 yrs; 210 deaths

Age group - 5 to 18 yrs; 490 deaths

Johns Hopkins Study Found Zero COVID Deaths Among Healthy Kids July 21, 2021

calculating accurate IFRs is important. To generate the best estimates possible, a team of scientists led by Megan O'Driscoll and Henrik Salje collected data on COVID-19 deaths in 45 countries and nearly two dozen seroprevalence studies (which determine the percentage of a population that has antibodies against the coronavirus and, hence, the percentage likely to have been infected). Using this data, they determined sex- and age-specific IFRs. (See chart.)
