Asked if he felt by guilty by ABC journalist George Stephanopoulos, Baldwin replied: 'No. No. I feel that someone is responsible for what happened, and I can't say who that is, but I know it's not me.'

this idiot admits to pulling back the ‘hammer’ but says he’s innocent because when he released the hammer the gun fired, but he didn’t ‘pull the trigger’
Just arrest this idiot and throw him in jail so we don’t have to listen to any more of ‘the aliens did it’ from this clown
"Is that someone in the room right now, Alec?"
Just keep talking, Alec. Show the jury (to be selected) just how low you can really go.
Does he not get how bad that remark makes him look?
It’s the old “If she dies, she dies!” sort of quote.
CLASSIC Narcissist / Cluster B personality disorder.
Baldwin is trying to influence public opinion by treating the killing of Halyna Hutchins as a TV show's season story arc.
Each week's episode will further advance the plot twist that Baldwin, who "shot" Hutchins in week 1, is not the "real killer." Each week, a new plot development will be introduced to the viewer. By week 13, the audience will be convinced that Baldwin was in innocent bystander, and that a long sequence of events conspired against him to leave the hero of the show in an externally seen compromising position, but that "what really happened" was what the viewer was NOT seeing that was actually going on.
By week 13, it will become a "Who Shot Halyna?" cliff-hanger season-ending episode. Season 2 will begin with the trial of Alec Baldwin, where the "real killer" will be exposed after another series of episode plot-twists that show how Hutchins was "really" killed, and that it wasn't Baldwin's fault.

His account now is significantly different from when he first started sticking his foot in his mouth. At first he said that she was a great friend of his. In this account he tells the elf that he hardly knew her. You can see by the pictures that were taken right after, Baldwin is on the phone and did appear upset but in this interview, he says he thought she fainted and didn’t know for about 45 minutes that she had been shot. What utter b.s.

So, at a minimum, he pulled back the hammer and released it, while the gun was pointed at a person. Did he not pull the hammer back far enough for it to be half cocked? Or is he just lying? The circumstance of shooting someone can play tricks with memory. And someone, somehow had missed at least one live round in the cylinder.
Yep...there’s quite a few whiteys that belong in that club
I’m surprised Bill Clinton hasn’t defended him with how much Baldwin defended him.
He thought she had “FAINTED”??
When people faint, they don’t usually spray blood onto the person in front and behind them.
I’m pretty sure I read that Alec had her blood splashed onto his clothing.
Oh, and when people faint, they don’t usually cause a film director standing behind them to suddenly drop to the floor with a fresh bullet wound.
The Little Woman, Hilaria must have cobbled that goofball lie up while in one of her Yoga positions.
Yes. I've only seen the bits of the promos of the interview, but his responses struck me as off. Everything is all about him. When asked if this was the worst thing he experienced, he said yes. Of course, it would be horrific. But I'd like to think that my response would have been, "Yes, but let's keep this in perspective. What the victim's family is experiencing is so much worse than my pain." I only just now read about his comment about not feeling guilty. Even if he truly believes he didn't pull the trigger, wouldn't he feel guilty about not hiring a more experienced armorer or feel guilty that as a producer he should have been aware that cast members were going target shooting with live ammo. And shouldn't he feel guilty that he pointed a gun at a person.
Who actually pulled the trigger, BaldwinIdiot?!
You did. Nuff’ said.
Baldwin is in the news (and courts) every 1-2 years for things like punch-ups with photographers, angry disputes in restaurants, fights with random strangers who cross him, and public arguments with his family.
From his history, its clear he is impulsive, grandiose, self-absorbed and avoids responsibility for his actions
Everyone that handled the gun up to and including Baldwin was negligent. Baldwin especially so because he cocked and pointed the gun at his victim.
I cannot believe that I agree with George Clooney about anything but he was exactly right. If you hand me a gun the first thing I will do is check to see if it is loaded. If you hand me a gun and tell me it is not loaded the first thing I will do is check to see if it is loaded. If I watch you check the gun to confirm that it is not loaded and you then hand me the gun and tell me it is not loaded then the first thing I will do is check to see if it is loaded.
After I have personally checked and confirmed that it is not loaded I will still handle the gun as if it were loaded because the first rule of handling guns is that every gun is loaded.
A Freeper told the story of being at a friend’s house. The friend had just purchased a new pistol. The friend emptied the gun and magazine and they dry-fired it downstaris and admired the new purchase.
The friend’s wife call them up for dinner, and Mr. Freeper used the downstairs bathroom.
On the way up for dinner he decided to take one last “shot”. All the ammo was still scattered on the table. He took careful aim at the water cooler in the corner.
“BANG!”
For some reason, the friend had reloaded the gun with new ammo out of the box, with the emptied ammo still laying on the table! Thankfully it was just a water cooler!
