If he works for the U.S. Government, he’s going to have a hard time getting a patent on anything, especially something he works on as part of his job.
All depends on his contract. SES employees are not like the rest of us peons.
Usually true. This situation with Fauci is more complex than that. He has worked it out so he gets a piece of the action.
Keep sticking your head in the sand, or do some research before you assume you know what’s going on:

Read Robert F. Kennedy’s book if you want additional insight into this weasel’s depravity and avarice.
The government can own the patents AND the director of the institute, can divy up the reward as he sees fit. I would love to see Fauci’s tax records.
The inventors (fauci et al) are listed and the government is the assignee. not sure how that works out.
Just because Fauci is listed as an inventor on some patents doesn’t mean squat. What matters is the assignee, which in this instance is the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The assignee is the entity with legal ownership rights. I am an inventor on a few patents assigned to one of the largest companies in the world (by market capitalization) and I have never made single dime from any of it.

Fauci does own many patents.
But the source of this article is not credible.
