I had to catch my breath a few times during the interview... these people are very smart, well informed, very organized and amongst many attributes, they are quite articulate. This was a fantastic interview and well worth the time as it gives great insight into just what a powerful force they are to be reckoned with.
It occurred to me as I watched the interview that there is a very good reason why he has gone into hiding....

This hour long press conference may be the most impressive press conference I have ever heard. The leader starts by explaining why two of the biggest Canadian press outlets were not invited. He said they come with five people and huge cameras and take over the room. Then they do not report accurately. Later he said that they were fighting on two fronts. One of them is the “smear machine otherwise known as legacy media”
They explained that the truck convoy for freedom is a cultural, not a political movement. He explained why, when he is asked why the truckers don’t just take the vaccine, this is a movement for basic freedoms and how the politicians are not interested in protecting the rights of ordinary people.
Most of the press conference was about organizing the convoys in such a short amount of time and how things are going. All of that was very interesting but my most important takeaways were about protecting freedoms.
Thanks for adding that….. it’s hard to overstate just how impressive the press conference was.
- Explained at the outset CBC and the Toronto Star were not there… they didn’t want to be smeared and have misinformation floating about. It almost seemed like this raised the ante quite a bit since they only got intelligent questions but it sure did put legacy media on the outside looking in.
- They made it about governmental out-of-control overreach… the vaccine mandates were just one part of that overreach. In the end, it was about freedom.
- They did not have kind words for O’Toole or the premiers of the other provinces at the same time that they walked a fairly careful line to stay away from a political agenda.
- They had a lot of good things to say about GoFundMe… one assumes that this was to drive home the point about the misinformation campaign against them of which quite a bit of it involved GFM.
- They did acknowledge the words from PDJT last night in Texas, but they were very careful to not react all that much to them… they are after all in Canada and are fully aware of what the enemedia would do to whatever it is they say.
- Made it very clear that they were prepared to wait out Trudeau and this could go on for a very long time if necessary. There quite a few hints that these are folks that will not back down and will not bend.
- Very smart politically was that they mentioned all the wide ethnic variation on the organizing committee and the drivers. There is no way anyone could pin this on a bunch of ‘militant white guys’. Also they made it clear that any disruptor types like the guy carrying the Nazi flag were ones trying to smear them and are not part of the group.
- They have repeated the message tirelessly that no one is to go into any government building... even if invited. No further comments were made about this but I don’t think the message was lost on anyone in that this comment was in clear association with J6.
- It almost seemed like they had thought it through so carefully, there were no bases left uncovered.
This is a very savvy group… and for this reason alone, things are going to be very interesting and particularly, if their fund grows a bunch more and if the truckers south of the border really do follow through with their plans on driving to DC.
Wow. Unlike anything Jennifer Granholm ever did, this discussion really did “blow me away”. They are very skilled at communicating their message and are very informed. Bravo.

By the way, since the fellow carrying the nazi flag was mentioned, I see that Candace Malcolm over at True North news has put a reward out for anyone to identify who this is and there is now a GoFundme with funds in it. As I said, this is all going to get very interesting...
A person with Trump’s policies and genius combined with the leader of the Canadian freedom convoys ability to make his case in a comprehensive and positive way without any personal attacks would give hope to the free world. Leaving out the two media outlets may have sent a strong message to those who were in attendance.
Trump must have enjoyed the back-and-forth with the media or he would not have allowed so many of them into all of his meetings with foreign leaders and business roundtables etc. The entire time he was talking with foreign leaders, cameras were clacking like machine guns. Questions should have been asked only relating to the country represented. Instead, the foreign leaders were almost ignored as the media asked snide questions about the latest false attack on President Trump. All he had to do was lay out the ground rules and then ended any presser when they were violated. They would have learned. It frustrated me.
I’m going to try but in case I’m not successful someone should make sure we copy this video and have it downloaded somewhere before the Twitter Nazis delete it.
