What Happened on Election Night? I Think I Have Some Answers
pjmedia.com ^ | 11/10/2022 | kevom downey jr.

There is whiskey in my coffee this morning. I considered going with heroin, which, thanks to Kathy Hochul, is easy to find in New York, but I’m saving my final fall for election night 2024.

Here is what I think went wrong — and right — in our elections.

Principles For starters, conservatives have principles, and the lefties do not. Die-hard libskanks are dedicated to their party communism. They will happily vote for anyone, even a pedophile — or, as they call them, Minor Attracted Persons (MAP) — as long as they have a “D” before their name.

Conservatives are not the same. I know a few never-Trumpers who pinched their noses and voted for Trump, but I know many who stayed home on election night, twice. True Democrats wouldn’t consider not voting for their candidate, even if he looks like the guy from Sling Blade and can’t put a sentence together.

Dr. Oz was a horrible candidate, but he is clearly a better man for the job than Fetterman. How many Pennsylvania Republicans snubbed Oz, the highly polished carpetbagger, and stayed home on Tuesday?

Bolshies don’t care that they are paying $4 for gas in Michigan. They don’t care that poor black people are getting slaughtered amid a three-year crime surge. They aren’t concerned that inflation is gutting the nation; it’s all about the party, comrade.

Conservatives love their children

Today, Facebook is full of working-class libs celebrating Tuesday’s elections, even though their kids could get raped due to cashless bail laws or an accidental overdose on a Percocet they bought off the street, having no idea it was laced with Chinese fentanyl.

FACT-O-RAMA! Leftists hate conservatives so much that they’ll smilingly endure brutal crime and historic inflation rather than allow a Republican in office.

It’s not what happens on election night, it’s what didn’t: counting all of the votes promptly. I worry about the week after the election, not election night.

“Maybe it’s time to shut up and let the leftists slaughter their unborn kids. Perhaps we should say nothing when they take their 13-year-old suddenly “trans” daughter to get mutilated by a doctor. Why should conservatives continue to care?”

Have a single male friend who is totally down for this. Of course, abortion benefits him as he plays around a lot. But there are a number on the right who want to just punt this issue cuz, you know, it’s hard.

These people aren't like you and I were. Many of them still
live at home with mom and dad into their thirties.

A failing economy doesn't means squat to them.

The theft was blatant this time.

Voting machine breakdowns in red strongholds, but not blue.

Stolen elections have consequences.

It was a large number of things, ranging from Trump, abortion, the failure of the GOP to put forth an alternative agenda, the talk of a red wave which motivated the Dems to vote, and some goofy candidates we nominated, to a large number of other things.

On the bright side, there are 21 Dem senators and two “independent” Senators who are really Dems who are up for re-election in 2024, but only 10 GOP senators. So we will have another bite at the apple if we can get our act together before then.

In PA and MI it did not matter who the R candidate was, or the Rat one for that matter. In PA and MI (to name just two of many such states) it is all about ballot harvesting, not the candidates, not the policies, not the quality of the campaign or debates or any of the like. If the Rs don’t get in the game with ballot harvesting in those states where it has become legal, they will not win any more elections in those states.

Stolen elections have consequences.

Unpunished elections have serious consequences. We have at least two years of proof for that. And no one is getting punished.

Actually, I think the count is accurate. But I think abortion hurt us especially when Republicans were coming out saying let’s make a federal bill banning abortion in in all 50 states. a nationwide ban was never a conservative policy! conservative policies leave it up to the states, but we had idiot Republicans come out and think they were better than others, and then we pick an idiot from New Jersey to run in Pennsylvania. I don’t care if McCormick wouldn’t have been good he was a vote for god sake. Republicans need to learn how to count. They Have this real problem with being able to count to 50

It’s not hard. We freaking won Roe versus Wade it’s gone, but Republicans decided before the midterms to say we need a federal ban on abortion instead of waiting breathing a minute and enjoying the loss of roe versus wade. they wanted to expand it knowing that Congress couldn’t do anything at the moment anyway, as everybody was campaigning. Had we just enjoyed the loss of Roe versus Wade. Oh and the same republicans talked of taking away birth control and gay marriage. Why? There were no bills or proposals. We would’ve had that red wave, or at least more than what we got.

I think the Republicans had more seats they had to protect compared to Dems. Plus “mail in ballots” and Early voting makes it easy for people who would normally not vote get to vote, I’ll take a guess that non-voters generally don’t follow the news and/or care about politics so they would be more likely to vote democrat.

I am convinced of this. ^^^

It is very clear there was a definite strategy of Biden doing the Hitler speech and then doing a mini version of it the Wednesday before the election. At first, I thought Democrats had really gone off the rails doing this, but in hindsight it was a very deliberate strategy.

Months and months of brainwashing by Hollywood, the Democrat talk shows, the corrupt MSM, and the fake news all pounding, everyday, at how evil Republicans are. Democrats now believe this. It is completely ingrained in them. Therefore, they will vote for anyone as long as they are not a Republican. In fact, they now feel it is their moral obligation to vote against any Republican - any Republican - because they are certain they are morally evil, violent, and will take away Democracy.

I do not see any way to get through that thick shroud both now and or anytime in the near future. When a group of people have convinced themselves that they are duty bound in a high moral obligation to vote against any Republican, they will do that. No questions asked. Crime, inflation, nothing will move them. It has now become their religious obligation.

That's exactly my take on it. The idiot Republicans (Lindsey, I'm talking to you!) deliberately snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory. It didn't have to be this way...

Once upon a time, in a just, rational liberty and generally God loving country getting a mail in ballot was unusual and hard to justify. Sort of like being excused from jury duty.

There was a reason for that.

We also generally had one election day and if you were too damn lazy, uninterested or stupid to either remember it or get off your fat lazy ass to go do it....we didn’t need your lousy vote anyway.
