Kind of a surprise. I was expecting a China Flag tie.
I’m not a fan of McConnell’s, but I hate this sort of sniper attack. There is no Put Ukraine First caucus. It’s simply the Congressional Ukraine Caucus. I believe it’s absurd to suggest that wearing a Ukrainian-flag-colored tie means he’s not looking out for America, but I do hope that he’s truly looking out for what’s good for Ukraine (peace, even if it’s at the 2014-2020 borders) rather than what’s harmful to Russia (revanchism over Crimea, etc.)

Said after he, along with 17 other republicans in the Senate, passed a 1.7 trillion omnibus bill hobbling the power of the purse for the incoming House for most of 2023, an incoming House that vowed 'no more blank checks for Ukraine'. The omnibus also gave almost 10 billion more of money we don't have beyond what Biden was asking for.
The only thing missing off off Mitch's tie was a "With love, Vladimir" signature.
