I think part of the bail issue also connects to how the crime is charged. “Soros” prosecutors under-charge and by doing so it can push the category into a lower / no bail scenario.
Agree on speedy trial but then that gets into how inefficient the entire judicial system is. The millions it would take to try and improve that means more government.
I’d rather pay for quick justice than the hidden costs of crime.
I suppose you can say that is more government, but if you saw my PS that government would be way more under control.
