Try to get away from Youtube and use Rumble as much as possible
If it’s free, it’s for me.
Thanks, VK. I didn’t know about the “@” in the YouTube URL. I bought a YouTube Premium subscription to enjoy the movies without ads and it is great.
I watched “One Two Three” with Cagney and Marilyn Monroe last week on Archive and loved it. Good quality video, too.
I’m watching “Big Sky,” the 1952 movie with Kirk Douglas, Dewey Martin, Elizabeth Threatt and Arthur Hunnicutt (who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor) on YT. It’s a great western that I haven’t seen before. Howard Hawkes made it in B&W instead of color which is a shame. It has the most amazing recreations of frontier towns and camp sites. One thing disappointing is they didn’t go on-site for a lot of the scenes. The scenes of the Lower Missouri river don’t look anything like the real thing (I lived close to the Missouri in Missouri State for several years). Most movie-goers in the eastern states didn’t know or recognize that.

Kanopy.com has ad free movies and other programs.
Free except that you have to have a public library card and register on-line.
For those that like movies from the 40’s, 50’ and 60’s:
Roku channel Movieland is free, no ads.
Some movies there:
Gone with the wind
Ten Commandments
Ben Hur
and hundreds more.
Roku channel Classic Reels $3/month no ads.
Some movies there:
All About Eve
The Heiress
Sabotage
and hundreds more.
We watch Cops and Jail live on Redbox, free with ads. The ads are much shorter than Pluto.
Watch Tubi for newer movies, free with ads. Tubi is the best for the fewest ads. Filmrise, Freevee, Pluto are terrible with ads.
Many old movies (40’s, 50’s) are on youtube with very few ads because they are so old. The downside is that they are difficult to find unless you know the title. Unlike newer movies, the old ones are posted by individuals, not youtube. I’m guessing because they are so old they don’t care about copyright issues.
www.vaughn.live go to miscellaneous (they have sections/news/people etc...) there are streams of just about every TV genre and many many movie streams ...only have ti view one commercial at the beginning and then it just runs unlike youtube which is getting as bad as regular TV.

I do not have any paid steaming services. I also do not pay to see any movies, but somehow, magically, I watch every recently released movie and TV series I care to see. Don’t ask me how. It’s internet magic.
