Well, if they were smart then none of this would have happened in the first place. Smart people would have said “We are beer makers, we stay out of social fights”
They aren’t stupid, they really don’t have any choice - are you familiar with corporate “ESG scores”?
These big corporations need to borrow money, lots of it, I guess, and if they aren’t sufficiently “woke”, then their ESG scores suffer. Leftists don’t care either way, they notch a win no matter how it shakes out as far as they are concerned.
