It was a 180 degree flip - prior to that, he was against Clinton claiming they were downplaying the threat of Saddam’s WMD, testifying to Congress as a whistleblower. He was famously attacked during a Senate hearing on the subject by Joe Biden himself as not being of a “high enough paygrade” to be testifying about such matters. Then to get attention, he flipped after the Iraq War broke out and was the darling of CNN and other far-left outlets to attack Bush.
