ALEXANDRIA, VA - In an effort to root out racism, the Salvation Army announced they will no longer be accepting any donations in the form of bills or coins that have white people on them.
"Ever since we learned that racism is everywhere, all the time, ingrained in every aspect of life, we realized most U.S. currency depict the faces of white men who only did evil, racist things in their lives," said the Commander-in-Chief of the Salvation Army, Clurvis Bellman. "We then decided the best way to feed, clothe, and comfort the poor and needy is to stop accepting money tarnished with the faces of men who were basically Hitler."
This new policy has required some modifications to their standard donation procurement; red donation buckets seen outside of retail establishments will now be accompanied by a bell ringer, a money examiner, and a public shamer to loudly criticize the donor for trying to help the poor with evil, white supremacist money.
The Salvation Army later announced they have defeated racism and have also filed for bankruptcy.

The Salvation Army (SA) publication on racism, relying heavily on White Privilege and Critical Race Theory (CRT) was deleted, but only the truly gullible would believe the character of the organization had turned away from joining this most popular, squishy expression of Christianity. SA has retained its International Social Justice Commission, which developed and released the publication.
Supposedly this long document was a voluntary discussion guide, but what are the chances of advancing in the organization if one expresses disagreement with any of the statements? Why wouldn’t it hold a cherished pride of place in the personal libraries found in the offices of all those looking to impress others and advance their futures?
I think the SA publication was useful as a guide to the teachings/indoctrinations of White Privilege, Black Lives Matter, and CRT, that provide people comforting delusions for proclaiming moral excellence. I will definitely miss it. Here is the link.

The position statement linked to below, which you retained, does not seem much better to me, because it includes me with “all people”, and I don’t have racist tendencies. I consider myself and all true Americans to be sovereign individuals who find value in themselves and others by acknowledging pre-existing, natural, intangible liberties. All of God’s children then exercise these liberties for strongholds of competence and self-worth for building individual character and exalting the human spirit.

Those defaulting to race or ethnicity, and therefore cultural Marxism, to find acceptance are to be pitied. Understand we are presented with two views of history, that incredibly compete for attention in this country. Americans must reject the premises of cultural Marxism because this philosophy cannot live peaceably with federal republicanism or individual autonomy, and in fact must replace it.
Karl Marx said, “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggle”. This view is limited to what can be observed, measured, or computed. Everything exists within the bounds of infinity. Humanity exists as swarms of creatures chosen to be irradicated or dominated. There is no perception or acknowledgement of eternity. Certainly, the SA publication was a fine example of amalgamating cultural Marxism with faith statements for a style of Christianity as comforting as mothers blending chocolate chips and walnut pieces into dough for Christmas cookies.
The Declaration of Independence says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. In this expression, the Creator reaches into our world from eternity to endow individual humans with inestimable value and cautions governments to cherish each person they seek to serve, while considering their own fallibility.

It’s not surprising to me that the Salvation Army went this way. They were started by those that believed an earthly heaven could be created on earth through legislation. They were either aligned or were started by communists.

At one time the Salvation Army was a wonderful and honorable organization. I suppose most of the SA folks on the ground still are.
But the SA leadership went completely off the rails with woke nonsense. What made it particularly bad was their obsession with the supposed evils of “white privilege”.
So, yeah. The Salvation Army (unfortunately) is very deserving of a sting from the Bee.
That title is so funny. But for a second it seemed real.
‘Back in the day’ both Dad and I were HUGE SA supporters. My three boys and I were bell-ringers at the mall for MANY years.
And then, about 5+ years ago they went all ‘woke.’
To me ‘Woke’ = ‘Nope’ for my dollars.
Our local Conservative AM station used to be huge supporters too - always urging us to donate or be bell ringers, etc. They no longer do that, so I guess we all figured it out about the same time.
Their loss. Idiots.

I used to put a couple of hundred a year in the kettles. Usually got a bunch of twenties to insert whenever I ran across one.
