‘Ingenuity’ certainly has been able to provide proof of her concept.
And what have we learned from the 67 hops going 10 miles? Any videos of the flights? Seems like an expensive government toy with no results or research purpose.
Mars: A planet populated entirely by invasive alien robots.
Any videos?
Yes. Check out NASA’s and JPL’s webpages.
Research purpose is primarily proof of concept, and secondarily greater imaging area coverage than it accompanying rover can collect.
It’s proven technically feasible to fly in Mars’ atmosphere. Sending larger, more capable aircraft is a technically reasonable thing to do.
Life on Mars. So obvious, yet everyone keeps on searching and searching! 🤣
And with Ingenuity literally hovering over the surface of the waters (Jezero crater), it's downright Biblical.
I love all these names. Let there be light. 💡
One more success.
