The tie could have easily been bought at a second-hand store. Way too many years have passed for anyone to remember the giver/buyer for such a common item.

I watch this subject I guess on YouTube several months ago and it made perfect sense to me. But a lot of people think it’s hogwash, I think it makes perfect sense.
