It's not like political correctness creeped in to genetics recently. This was the first field where PC reigned supreme. There is this term called "race realism" which if believed by you, labels you as a racist.

Imagine that believing in something real is a sign of bigotry.

But then those who believe that there are two sexes have also been labeled as bigots.

Mendel and Darwin were roughly contemporaries. Darwin certainly believed in the inferiority of some races. While some of his “races” are ethnicities by our standards, some were races then and now. I don’t know the views of Mendel.
