Amazing how our intel people can “know” about terrorists plans overseas in advance, but are incapable of the same at home. A skeptical person might ask: “Are they part of the setup?”
Isis? Yeah, they must have attacked because Russia is lining up against Israel in the Hamas war and demanding an Israeli cease fire. The US Government lies don’t even TRY to make sense anymore.
That is absolutely the correct line of inquiry to pursue. Not coincidentally, there is a reason that MSM journalist remain strangely, stubbornly, incurious.
Intelligence agencies prevent attacks on Americans here and abroad all the time. Sometimes we hear about it, other times we don’t.

Many terrorist plots are foiled. Some are not. It is not hard to "know" something is going on from signals intelligence and other sources. Knowing actual details of exactly where when and who is much more difficult.

Don’t denigrate the US government’s effort at “Total Information Awareness”.
However, lone wolves can sometimes be very difficult to detect.
Our government knows about it, here, too.
There were warnings about 9/11 and they were ignored.
Other mass shootings had red flags showing indicating they were coming and our government did NOTHING to stop them.
I recall there was a shooting in TX by some guys from either AZ or NM and the fib had been following them without stopping them. What stopped them was a citizen with a gun who nailed them as soon as they started.
We are in no position to point fingers at Putin as if the US is taking the moral high ground. These current governments are all the same. And the unwashed are only collateral damage in their lust for power.

The bigger question may be how this is going to be played by Putin and his minions to justify future actions.
