I use Opera across all my devices going back over 15 years at least, (they can share files amongst each other if you like) the old days of Netscape, Microsoft, Firefox and other resource hogs are long gone. Edge is the most intrusive one I have ever seen and will never use that pig, can’t uninstall it either, I hate those types.
There is probably a couple other good ones out there but never bothered to look.

Opera users miss some of the functionality it had before the Change, for it, as do Firefox legacy users.

Watched a YouTube video and did it, about that 2 days ago...
Just type: "remove edge from windows 10 permanently" in the YouTube search bar...
There are several videos...
It works...
