Based on those weapons in the photos, is this more likely to be a hit rather than gang violence?

The 2400 block of South Wayside Drive is not an awful area. It's on the South Loop (I-610) about 4.5 miles southeast of Hermann Park, Texas Children's Hospital, and the museum district, about 4.5 miles east of NRG Stadium/Astrodome, and about 4 miles north of Hobby Airport.

The kids nowadays will have two rifles stuffed into their pants. However, the age of the one shooter seems a bit old for a gang hit. And if those two rifles are the same make, that would be really odd IMHO for gang bangers. Any photos I’ve seen they just have a mish-mash of various types and brands of weapons. (Although the Glocks are pretty popular).

Are you in the Houston area???!

This is the southeast side of Houston. One of, if not THE worst areas/places to be, in Houston.

Locals, who first reported on this, are calling it an obvious hit.
