Lara Merchan was employed by the New York State Attorney General from 2009-2022. Letitia James was “installed” into office in 2019 after running on a campaign to “Get Trump”.

The point is, there is no un-biased court for a President.
The judge, jury and prosecutor will always be either corrupt partisans working to remove a competitor or people who already have an opinion on the person.
It’s ludicrous to even contemplate it, for all the reasons we are seeing now.

Their exhibition has no merit. We simply cannot accept this perversion of justice. Surely they don’t realize they are playing with fire. I know they think they’ll get what they want, but they might be surprised at the actual reaction.

I believe he’s already said he’s refusing to recuse himself, so the only way forward is to appeal the Judge’s ruling afterwards?
I’m not sure what they can do in the meantime.
