This field of study has been interesting to me specifically relative to shooting a projectile at long ranges.

This man gives a very good presentation of the Coriolis effect.

Which brings up another question, does ballistic compensator software exist that will convert moa to milliradians? If not, it should be written.

10 MOA at 1000 yards is 100 inches. That’s not what you get from coriolis. More like 3 inches right for coriolis and then another 6 to 9 inches right for spin drift at 1000 yards. Spin drift is a bigger influence.

Here is an interesting video about all three of the phenomenon of long-range shooting. The Coriolis effect, spin drift and wind drift.
