The body of a 6-year-old girl, Tahj Evans, who had been missing in the Flint River for almost a week, was finally recovered around 10:15 a.m. Saturday May 4, according to Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson.

Prayers up for the family.
Sad news.
The family were irresponsible and neglectful morons. Read the article. A child had drowned just the week before in the same area. My prayer is that they don’t have any more children.
“It’s a tragedy nonetheless, but it brought this community together.”
So rah rah for that!
The entire tone of this sad tale is just off-putting. Over half of it is devoted to self congratulatory back slapping.
