Imagine going up in a space capsule built by Boeing! Will the door just pop out?

Launching on a candle by the lowest bidder is one thing, but also by a diversity hiring MBA company?? NO thanks!

There’s a whole line of people at the launch pad blowing whistles.

Strange that NASA spoliated all the designs and data from the Apollo missions. Perhaps we’d be back to the moon in the last 50 years…

Merger with McDonald Douglas destroyed Boeing.
I left because I could see what was happening.
Bean counters destroyed the Douglas airplane
company and now they have destroyed Boeing.
Boeing technician and engineer over 20 years.
I had nothing to do with the 787!
I left in 2000.

Being a long time ‘space nut’, I really do hope this thing goes off without a hitch. With what’s been happening with Boeing recently, it just makes things that much more stomach-turning. than they normally would be.

Spaceflight Now reports that weather is 95% GO for tonight’s launch.

And, for those interested, SpaceX is doing a Starlink launch at 2:14pm this afternoon.

I would not trust the DEI quality control standards. Who cares if a trans-muslim-black-woman hammered in a bolt instead of using a wrench?

NASA has announced that they’re standing down for tonight. According to them, it is due to a oxygen valve on the Centaur second stage of the Atlas 5 rocket. No Word on When they are planning on another attempt.
