We had a kid like that who played on my son’s team. Really good at a really good age. He was able to compete until he got to high school and that was the end of that. He’s riding pine on the varsity baseball team now. He’ll be phenomenal on the courts at the Y when he gets older though.
Many youth ball phenoms simply burn out as they age. Travel ball and parental pressure to win. Hope this kid makes it. He got chops

He might be in more than one league, which is common nowadays. That’s how obsessed some of these parents are.
