Progressive college students despair Trump could win because of protests over Israel: 'Genuinely concerned'

Young progressive voters in Michigan fear President Biden could lose the election to former President Trump because of left-wing backlash over Israel, according to a new report.

"Michigan is up for grabs, and I did not think I'd be saying this right now. And I wish I wasn't saying this right now, but I am genuinely concerned about which way Michigan will go," a recent University of Michigan graduate, Jade Gray, told CNN's John King.

Several students said Biden's failure to take a hard stance against Israel's campaign and to demand a cease-fire has lost him many younger and progressive voters. Gray worried it could cost the president Michigan, a battleground state with one of the largest Arab-American populations in the U.S.

"A lot of our generation is also considering going third party, but I kind of fear it‘s going to split up the votes and end up falling back on Trump, which I wouldn't want to happen," Wayne State University student Summer Matkin told CNN.

The students also said many of their friends would stay home in November or vote third-party because of their discontent over Biden.

Still, Matkin was critical of Biden.

"No matter how many Taylor Swift references you make, you'll never understand us," she said. "I think he has handled everything with Israel and Palestine terribly."

Anti-Israel protesters disrupted the University of Michigan graduation ceremony on Saturday. Colleges across the country have begun cracking down on campus protests, with many canceling their commencements.

Protests have also followed Biden on the campaign trail, leading liberal outlets like MSNBC to warn that he's at risk of losing progressive voters in key battleground states over the issue. However, a poll released Wednesday shows Democrats are divided on the campus protests.

Could it be that some of the morons in colleges have found out that responsbility and decisions have repercussions if it doesn’t agree with the law or morality and if it should be different than what a partial amount of people agree with? Welcome to the real world, cousin.

In 2020 I watched rioters and looters burn their way across American cities and, old enough to remember 1968, concluded that the Democrats in their support of these leftists had sealed their fate in the upcoming November election for president and Congress. I was entirely wrong.

Trump lost, at least on the count if not the vote, we got bitch-slapped in the Senate and fell short of expectations in the House. 1968 simply skipped past 2020 and 1968 might well skip past 2024 if we don't understand what happened in 2020.

Consider the really stellar record the Trump and put together in his time in office leading up to 2020. The economy was breaking records and delivering the goods for every race and class because Donald Trump had turned it around. The good times rolled until Covid but Donald Trump rushed a vaccine through that everyone at the time believed would save us. He pumped money into the system that should have bribed every self obsessed voter a time proven election winning practice of Democrats. Yet he and Congress fell short.

It is not enough to claim that the election was stolen, we have not yet proven that to be the case in any forum that would carry the day although it is clear that it was rigged by the government and media as typified by the Hunter Biden laptop censorship. It was rigged because Zuckerberg ponied up more than $400 million to buy offices around the country that set the rules on voting. It was rigged because Republicans, including Trump, simply failed to understand the implications of mail in voting.

Despite 1968 and despite the great record that Donald Trump had amassed, we lost because we did not understand how the game had changed. After 2020 when it came time to clean house at the Republican National Committee we dithered and left Rona McDonnell unchecked and mostly unaudited. Have we done the long overdue housecleaning too late? We reversed our positions on mail in voting but have we created the infrastructure necessary to beat Democrats at that game? Do we have time? Given the imbalance in the records of these two men, how could it be that the polls are remotely close to even today?

Did Russia gate, impeachments, and now lawfare turn the world upside down in 2020? Why not in 2024?

Given the times and given the history since 1968, I too am "genuinely concerned."

It’s because the useful idiots have been groomed by the left to react to causes and not issues. Abortion isn’t an issue, it’s a cause. To the lemmings, illegal immigration isn’t an issue, it’s a cause. Same with gay marriage, the environment and one of 100 other causes that do not do anything for the betterment of Americans.

Trump addressed issues, Biden addressed causes. That’s the real problem. Aside from the deep state selecting him as Trump’s VP, Pence’s job was to address the social injustices foisted on the American people. He was supposed to be the voice of morality. He wasn’t.

We turned into a nation which perceives morality, values and the law as social injustice against those who choose not abide by a common set of laws and principles. It’s very disheartening.

When I was in college I worried about things like making my software assignments work correctly, while working full time in a warehouse, so I could one day have a good paying career as a programmer.

These “students” don’t know what real pain is but they are going to get it in spades, thanks to the corrupt filthy Biden junta.

The USA is in a death spiral of debt that it will never get out of.

Millions and millions of foreign cockroaches invading the land, ravaging everything it touches.

The middle east, a society filled with a powder keg of anger, ready to explode and take down everybody with it.

A corrupt compliant congress doing the bidding of the worst evil villains that ever lived.

Washington DC on the precipice, going down in flames.

At this point they will finally know pain. It will be glorious.
