I say “WAIT! Just wait until Brandon & Co. finish razing our energy industry for NO REASON AT ALL.” Nations rise and fall on their energy production and consumption. Destroying our energy system and infrastructure will lead us to a ruinous outcome.

As awful as that is, it might be an improvement in this case. Sure, the Soviets started the FUBAR, but at least they had a coherent policy that worked for a while. I’d bet Putin would at least start a peasant-organ-exchange exclusively for oligarchs, with a trading floor, so the poor zhlub will get a decent price for his kidney, and sanitary ORs in North Korea.
