Zimbabwe was once called “The Breadbasket of Africa”.

I believe that when Zimbabwe was Rhodesia, it had one of the strongest economies on the continent.
And South Africa used to have very strong economies.
Hmmmm, I wonder if there could perhaps, just perhaps, be a common cause to what has happened to both?
And nope, not race...but perhaps a certain type of culture?
You know, the type of culture that’s in Illinois, New York, and Calipornia. The left, taking bodacious Obamas on everything they touch.

Eventually the blacks would have been absorbed into Rhodesian society, that was the plan all along. But the Soviets cynically saw an opportunity to expand their influence in Africa by aiding Mugabe and Co.

It is the existence of foreign banks willing to accept capital obtained through any means including slavery and murder that these nightmarish dictatorships exist. Barclays of London was the facilitator behind Robert Mugabe’s grip on power for decades. Being able to park their ill-gotten gains far from the reach of their victims is how they maintain power.
