Every Chickie Dick fan I've talked to have said forget them, no more CD's, and can't even stand to hear them anymore.

It would be terrific if their career continued to fail as then maybe the outspoken celebrities would stop bombarding us with their opinions from a very public soapbox.

Consider that one were a plumber and went into someone's home spouting their opinion while telling the homeowner to sit there and listen as I have every right to my opinion, then I handed them the bill and expected - or rather - demanded that they use my services as a plumber again. Then I am amazed when they never call so I get on my commercials and deride the same customer for not using my services. It stinks, doesn't it Natalie?

Saranwrap: ratings tanked over the weekend; disinvited to speak for United Way;

Robbins: disinvited to speak at Hall of Fame;

Blixie Chix: sales tank.

Looks like they're all in the sewers! : )

The best part of this is that "the Dixie Chicks" fate is common talk in all media. Nice job Freepers. 5% of the people can change the world.

I noticed in this weekend's entertainment section that they had disappeared from the charts. Good work, everyone! Now that we know how powerful we can be, we need to flex the muscle a bit more often.

The Dixie Chicks - that name sounds vaguely familiar. Didn't they used to be a country music group or something like that?

I was in a health food store the other day and happened to see some French
deoderant made with 'french clay'. I had myself a good laugh over that one.

Freepers deserve a pat on the back, but let's not fail to give credit to the country music fans first and foremost. I have listened to country for about 20 years, and country music fans have always been the most patriotic, pro-American music fans in the world!
