This is nothing. Every denomination independently establishes a contact agency with the military so the denomination will be eligible to provide chaplains.
If it is a legitimate denomination, the military is not permitted to investigate a religious agency, only the backgrounds of the individual candidates they recommend.

If it is a legitimate denomination...Islam is not a legitimate "denomination."
It is a false religion - one which enslaves millions.
And, has lead to the murder of thousands of innocent Americans.

If it is a legitimate denomination...Well that is the operative word with Americans now, isn't it, legitimate ?
Many Americans now have strong feelings regarding Islam, and this doesn't help.
Speaking as a former military brat, I can't help but wonder how this affects morale and cohesion in the military ranks, especially that of the Chaplain corp.
