Lionel Tate will get a rare second chance: another bite at the same plea agreement that his mother and his former attorney rejected before his 2001 trial for the murder of 6-year-old Tiffany Eunick.

Who's got the pool? Three years (36 months) and he's already served 33 months, so he'll be out before his taxes are due (OK, my taxes are due).

Pool bets: How many months before he is back in the spotlight for killing someone else? His plea in that killing, I'll bet, will be "slight mental retardation." And, for the long term pools, put me down for "age 26 when he finally is convicted to serve a life sentence," and "6 for the total number of dead at his hands before entering prison to serve life (other scores while in prison, of course, just pre-prison deaths).
