The pictures I've seen of her would seem to imply that she is of insufficient mental capacity to be able to make complex decisions. Not to say that she has no culpability but she does look to be mentally disabled or severely incapacitated by past drug use.

Should have read your comments before I posted. Sorry, I just jumped in. Didn't see any of the news reports on this but just reading the story left me agreeing with your impression.

I'm sure that'll be the argument when it comes to suing the doc..."you should have known that she couldn't make that decision". I'm sure despite best attempts at informing and documenting somehow they'll be sued.
