Was there something preventing the doctors from administering pitocin to bring on labor? Seems like that would have been preferable to letting her flat turn down the C-section.

In any event I think a charge of murder is ridiculous and hypocritical in the extreme.

If they did and she refused, I would lean more to the possibility that she was actually a no medical intervention in the interest of her "empowering" childbirth zealot than worried about a scar.
