Prison, fine for certifying driving tests

Prison, fine for certifying driving tests By Pamela Perkins Contact March 17, 2004

A retired Memphis police officer was sentenced Tuesday to 18 months in federal prison and fined $20,000 for taking money for falsely certifying test results at her driving school - clearing the illegal aliens to apply for Tennessee driver's licenses.

"I'm just sorry," said Charlotte Creasy, 57, before U.S. Dist. Court Judge Jon McCalla sentenced her. She pleaded guilty in November to mail fraud conspiracy.

Federal prosecutor Steve Parker, member of the U.S. Attorney's anti-terrorism section, asked McCalla to pass a sentence that would send a message to people who help illegal aliens fraudulently obtain official identification in the wary post-Sept. 11 atmosphere.

"She put her financial needs over safety," said Parker, citing homeland security as well as safe roads.

Creasy and her husband, police officer Gary Creasy, operated The Driving Challenge in East Memphis. He was not charged in the case that broke in 2002.

Charlotte Creasy got $175 from each student, most of them Hispanic and Asian. Authorities had accused Creasy of collecting more than $100,000, but her attorney Marvin E. Ballin said she actually collected $52,250. Parker agreed to the revised figure.

Creasy and her attorney said she had a heart attack in December, has since become diabetic and is collecting disability payments.

The State of Tennessee also recently indicted Creasy on charges of bribing a state official.

Hmmmm - so this person goes to jail, because of post 9-11 security concerns, for getting drivers licenses for illegals. Meanwhile, politicians around the country are either passing state laws allowing illegals to get licenses or are promoting varying amnesty schemes. What does that say about what those politicians are doing?

"Illegals" can still get DL's in Tenn., I believe this person was charged with 'falsely certifying test results at her driving school'. This way illegals too stupid or lazy to pass the *required* tests, were still able to *buy* a legal license.

All should be voted out of office.

Follow the money.

Wages are a "cost." How to decrease them with jobs that can't be outsourced overseas?

Insource workers.

Drivers' license scam for illegals is a project to replace American citizens and residents from transportation jobs, and at least to depress their wage bargaining power. Driving a plumber's truck, rigs, forklifts, pizza delivery, you name it, it's on the table. Read a list of the corporate contributors to the National Immigration Forum and you'll fathom the agenda.

There's other motives, like insurance companies wanting to make more money, but that's peripheral. The money behind this is the transportation industry. They deploy "ethnic" front groups to whip up liberal guilt about "people of color" and stories about illegals not being able to drive their children to school.

That's the chaff. Indeed, since people of color who are residents and citizens of this country are disproportionately affected, licenses for illegals is objectively a racist policy.

The business interests with short-term profit taking views have united with the lefties and guilt-liberals to strip the American middle class of its "lifestyle", holding hands and singing Kumbaya while they're doing it.

Follow the money.

Where's the restitution from this criminal parasite? Put a lien on her house if she's short on funds. I'll bet she has a house in her name.

Follow the money.

Karl Marx said people will act in their class interest. The class interests of the outsourcers is to lie to the American middle class and tell them everything will turn out just fine. They hire libertarian think tanks like Cato Institute to shill their message

Classes are aggregates of persons who perform the same function in the organization of production. Marx sees individual self-interest among capitalists as destructive of their class interest in general, and as leading to the ultimate self-destruction of capitalism.

A perfect description of the loony free marketers who will destroy America and American capitalism by making the masses flee to the socialist solutions of the Democrat party.
