I just saw the headlines scrolling across the bottom of one of the cable networks in which it said that Anne Lewis' daughter was found murdered. The husband has been charged with murder. Anyone else catch this?

Yes, I saw it. No matter how I feel about Ann Lewis politically, having a family member murdered is horrendous.

This is terrible. I can't imagine.
FTR, this would be Barney Frank's niece who was killed.

Wow, how awful. I don't like her or her brother but this is tough for any family.

I wonder what the story is with the husband. This just came out of nowhere.

Sounds like a good deal of dysfunctionality in that family. Nevertheless, all very tragic.

No matter how I feel about Ann Lewis politically, having a family member murdered is horrendous.Agreed. It's awful to lose a child no matter what the circumstances, and this has got to be about the worst.

Husband charged in murder of Rep. Frank's niece
(Arlington, Virginia - AP) The family of Congressman Barney Frank is mourning the death of his niece, who was allegedly strangled by her husband.
Forty-one-year-old Susan Lewis was found Monday at her home in Arlington, Virginia. She died later at the hospital.
The Washington Post reports that her husband, James Powell, is charged with her murder.
Police say Powell was treated for self-inflicted stab wounds and taken into custody at the hospital. He's being held without bail.
Susan Lewis is the daughter of Democratic National Committee member and former White House adviser Ann Lewis, who is Frank's sister.
The Massachusetts Democrat released a statement saying the family is "deeply devastated" by the death of his niece
The congressman canceled a scheduled appearance yesterday at Boston University, saying only that there had been a death in the family.

Not a good thing for sure and it's sad for the family.
Now let's think about how the minds of Clintonites will ferment during the next decade........I don't see many enjoyable retirements and golden years with the ghosts haunting that bunch. Nothing good can come to these people without coming clean, and we know that ain't gonna happen unless they enter witness protection.
