Hippie march sparks counter protest

(East Moriches, NY) At 4:00 PM, two small political groups collided when members marching from various anti-war organizations marched passed two 17-year-old members of the Westhampton Teenage Republicans (http://WesthamptonTars.8m.com) who had flags and a sign of their own. The anti-war groups confronted the teenage republicans after they were spotted across the street along their marching route. At first mistaken as fellow anti-war protesters, they were invited to march with the group. Then, the group's leader realized that the two teens were in fact on the other side and supporting our troops. After a lengthy debate, the anti-war group left as the pro-American teens waved their flags and celebrated "the fact that our troops who fight for us now are allowing us to use our rights to counter the very people countering them." They later commented on how remarkable it was that "two 17-year-old teens could stop a whole march without saying a word." ###

It's good to see you going strong. I remember a while back that you or someone from your group posted to ask for some constructive criticism of your newly constructed cyber-site. To even ask for criticism shows a maturity of wisdom. Thank you for your efforts in the name of liberty and freedom.

Considering that hippies are about as clean, social and appealing as crows, I say we refer to gatherings of hippies just as we refer to gatherings of crows.

Call their group a "murder."

hey, now... unlike Hippies, crows are intelligent and playful and keen to learn, as well as graceful and lovely in their own way.

the only similarities between crows and hippies are that both breeds make loud and unpleasant noises, and both feed on carrion and garbage.

please don't insult crows and ravens so.

I stand behind my term for a motley gathering of hippies: HAZE
It SUITS them so.

Seems we have similar pet peeves. I cringe every time someone refers to certain Liberal types as "rats." I like rats far better than those b-st-rds. Rats are cleaner, too. ; )
