Why has no one picked up on the fact that Christmas is not a holday for the Vietnamese? I was in Nam on gunboats for Xmas 1968 and I don't recall any civilians celebrating particularly. They're mostly Buddhists fer crissakes!

Good point! But why should Jean allow facts in the way? And would he know Buddhism from Christianity anyway?

Actually, there are a lot of Catholics in South Vietnam - or at least there used to be.
