Something to Yak About Dems Slip Into Panic Mode; Kerry Still Listless on Iraq Position
John Kerrys continually shifting position on the Iraq war has apparently become a growing source of consternation among Democrats who have shifted into, panic mode, over the campaigns inability to come up with a coherent message on the issue. Obviously, this latest change will merely reinforce the public perception that, depending on whether you give him the benefit of the doubt, Kerry is either indecisive or an unprincipled politician who will say or do anything to get elected, reads Peter Browns piece from Knight-Ridder.
Kerry Camp Still Off-Track on Iraq Policy
Okay, so maybe John Kerry doesnt want to show his hand on what the heck he would do in Iraq, but one thing is clear Kerrys heavily nuanced position on Iraq is as clear as mud, even to the Washington Post. The Posts editorial writers note that Mr. Kerry has said,
we must be prepared to stay the course over however many years it takes to do it right, followed by the observation that, We believe that position was and remains correct. The question is whether Mr. Kerry still agrees with it. If this campaign cant get it together 49 days out, will it ever happen?
Earth to Kerry: Take a Stand
The flippery and floppery that engulfs so much of John Kerrys campaign is not limited just to the war to oust Saddam Hussein, the cost of the war in Iraq or even which Big 10 football team he roots for. Maybe he has a capacity to grasp complexity most of us do not, and he's being entirely sincere when he takes positions that seem contradictory to conventional Earth Logic, ponders a column in Tuesdays Tallahassee Democrat.

Are there any "Goodfellows" still alive we can hire as campaign advisers?
Okay, canvas all the Federal Prisons and neighborhoods statewide. It's time to get even and level the playing field........We need some real strategy!
Any suggestions?
That may have been true in 1996, but now we've got "the fantasy party" and "the reality party."
If the GOP wants to be "the reality party" (and, let's face it, that's the only approach to long-term success), it has got to be the party that embraces the internet and the New Media. This means it's got to be the party that protects and strengthens the new media.

Not bad. Although I always view them as the corruption party and the spineless party.

Spineless may go away depending on the outcome of this election. If the Republicans pile up some more seats, congressmen and senators will have a difficult time playing patty cake with the RATS.
John Kerry is a one-man two party system. For and against everything.
I'm not sure, but did you know he was in Vietnam ?
How is the President going to debate this guy? I suggest he just laugh at all Kerry's answers on Iraq.
I've viewed them as "the party with no conscience" versus the "party with no cojones"
Even better! :-)
