Just heard it. Staudt has came forward and refuted every word of the docs. Bush was not given preferential treatment and He did not pressure to sugar coat anything.

I just heard it too - news during break in Rush show here in Dallas. However did anyone notice at the end of the piece they said Gen. Staudt is a Bush supporter? Where was that disclaimer from CBS when they had Ms. Cox on??!!!!

They are not circling the wagons. They are throwing CBS to the wolves. ABC doesn't want to get dragged down with CBS.
Yes, but its not so much authenticity of the documents but the questions they raise that are important.
Come to think of it, he may be the only one in this sorrowful mess who has a good defamation claim. He's not a public figure, and he truly was slandered. Unfortunately, he's 84, and defamation claims die with the victim. He'd better be talking to his lawyer pretty quick.
