About an hour ago, I heard on CNN (I think) that there was "good news" and that the captors of these people had said they would accept 1 million dollars to release the Italians. I hope they didn't get paid. God bless the hostages each and every one of them.

That's a nice thought, but don't hold your breath. The only way to stop these nutcases is to kill them. The fact that the Italians were women probably had a lot to do with their being freed and not beheaded. Don't expect to see any male hostages freed anytime soon, especially from coalition countries.

I'm sure they gave them money. These guys do not release hostages unless they get money. We've seen the beheadings that come when we don't give them money.
