...voters ...has returned to the levels that existed before the first debate"
Public Enquiry Project | 10/15/04 | Scott Rassmussen

Posted on 10/15/2004 8:34:36 AM PDT by AdrianSpidle

"Friday October 15, 2004--The Presidential debates are over and the election is just two-and-a-half weeks away. The latest Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll shows President George W. Bush with 49% of the vote and Senator John Kerry with 46%. The Tracking Poll is updated daily by noon Eastern.

Voters surveyed last night declared the third and final debate a tie, with fans of each candidate thinking their man won. The number of voters who prefer Bush over Kerry on both national defense and the economy has returned to the levels that existed before the first debate"

Thanks - I really needed this today!

We are really working hard here in PA.

Hoping it's a landslide here so we don't turn in to another Florida!

Do these polls take into account all the dead voters, illegal aliens, convicted felons, and repeat voters who will be voting for the Democrat ticket?

All the RAT false posturing about 3 strikes and out for the debates, and the lick spittle media saying how much the race has closed is so much dreaming. Back to Sept 29 levels.

Re#4 Nope. They also don't account for the GOP GOTV plan. Think about the 2002 mid-term surprise. This year it's even better....

Vanity Analysis:

This is not a surprise. The MSM makes a big deal out of these debates but they rarely change the fundamentals. It has happened once that I can think of and that was the 1980 debate between Reagan and Carter.

In this case the numbers were driven by the MSM promotion of Kerry as the great debator and Bush as the village idiot. But that is superficial because Kerry has still offered no substantive plan for the one and only issue in this campaign; the war declared on the United States and western civilization by Islamist Fascism. He can talk all he wants about boosting the liberal welfare state but to the vast majority of Americans it is of little matter if some fascist is trying to fly an airplane into your lap while you are at work.

As I have said since the beginning of the year. The issue is the battle for western civilization and Kerry's plan to turn it over to the coalition of the bribed, France and the UN is a non-starter.

Because of that Bush will win 52% to F'n's 47% assorted nuts 1%.

Only the MSM should be shocked by this development.

It is a 72 hour effort involving hundreds of thousands of GOP volunteers. In the words of Freeper Common Tator:

First of all the Republicans had no grass roots effort in 2000. The Republicans had never had one... and there was not enough time to organize a real grass roots effort. That changed in 2002 when the Republicans did the unheard of... They picked up senate and house seats in the first off year election. That was because the Republicans had a grass roots campaign. But the 2002 effort was nothing compared to the grass roots efforts in 2004. This time for the first time in history the Republicans have a grass roots effort that compares favorably with the Democrats grass roots efforts.

Here is a cout and paste to some of CT's comments. I have come to strongly believe he knows of what he speaks: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/user-posts?id=7722

Don't let down for an instant. I talked to my wife last night, and we decided to fly her to Ohio to help GOTV on Nov 2.

Anyone with a van or SUV should offer to drive all of their GOP friends to the voting booth on the 2nd.

Take the day off of work and make several trips if you must. Just make sure that anyone you know that would vote for Bush gets to the voting booth.
