There was a case not long ago of a Pakistani family that had settled in the US. Teenaged daughter worked after school at McDonald's, dated a black teenager. She was an honor student, any family in their right minds would have been so proud of this child. But the father decided his honor had been besmirched and murdered her with the support and connivance of his wife, the girl's mother. They then called the cops, claiming that the dead girl had threatened the father with a knife and demanded $5000. Unfortunately for them, the FBI had bugged their home because Papa had ties to Al Qaeda...he'd been part of a charity/front that raised money for Al Qaeda. The feds were unable to stop the girl's murder, but Papa went to jail where he died. Mother plea bargained out. They'd chatted on the phone with Papa's sister beforehand, how the great day was at hand when family honor would be restored. The Aunt was going out to buy a new dress to celebrate. They're nuts and aren't going to change anytime soon.
