Where's the popcorn.......it should be a good show.

Wonder if they'll coordinate behind the scenes with the US. We could offer some 'nifty' help with Tomahawks, F-117s, B-2s, GPS and radar jamming.
Big trial balloon here....depending on the salute we might see something go down soon

Israel has already admitted that it cannot acheive the same goal as they did in Iraq in 81. Iran has too many sites hidden and their air defenses are a formidable opponent. Any Israeli strike would just dent Iran's capability.
Sorry for the double post, please remove one. #2 or 3..
Somebody is going to have to deal with Iran.
Personally, I would rather it be the United States. We DO have unfinished business with them.
I've been at rodeos when the bull cleared the arena fence. Sometimes a good show gets a lot more interesting than anyone intended. Israel entering as a combatant could be VERY interesting. Of course, Iraq has a history of bloodshed with Iran, and you could see about six flash points at once if this takes place. When the US toppled Saddam, we were there to fill the power void. The toppling of Iran would create another power vacuum that the other Islamic countries would rush to fill.
You can bet we'll know when its about to happen. To strike Iran Israel must fly over Iraq and the U.S. air defense systems. We sure don't want any friendly fire mishaps.
I remember a story, apocryphal or not, from WWII about an air raid on a ball bearing factory because that one part was so instrumental to so many machines that you got more bang for the buck. Is there no key cog in the nuclear machine that could be taken out in one or perhaps just a few strikes?
The attacks against the ball bearing factories at Schweinfurt were very costly to the American bomber crews because they went in without fighter escort.
Man if it's not one thing it's another.
Imbetween dealing with these wackjob arab countries and taking care of the ones that get out of hand, suicidal palestinans fill in the gaps.
You can't catch a break for two minutes if you're living over there.
Which is what makes the mullahs all the more nervous.
Jeez.
the Iranians are not that stupid to put all their eggs in one basket and be open to an aerial attack from the IAF.
