Father, we thank You for the success of President Bush's trip to Europe so far. We thank You for the safety You have provided for our President and First Lady, and ask that You would keep them safe from all harm until they arrive safely on our shores. We are filled with gratitude to You that the assassination attempt on President Bush's life was foiled, and we ask that You would continue to guard them against the arrows of the Enemy, as the President does Your work in leading this country and the world. Father, we ask that You might keep him deep in Your word, and in prayer, that he might practice the presence of Your Holy Spirit, and yield himself wholly to You. We ask that he might continue to listen for Your still small voice in the midst of all his advisors, and ask that he might walk humbly before You, O God. We also ask that You will bless the remainder of this trip to Europe, and be at work there. Father, our heart grieves for the souls of so many in Europe who have abandoned Your will and Your law. We ask that there might be a revival on that continent, and may President Bush be a part in bringing them back to You.
We pray for all those in our military who are serving in harm's way. We ask for Your divine protection for not only their physical well being, but for their spirits and minds as well. Bring them peace, and guide their steps as they serve this nation in the great cause of freedom around the world. Bless their families at home, and carry them through with Your divine love.
Finally, Father, we pray again for this beloved land of ours, that You would protect us, and revive us. Bring us back to the Judeo-Christian principles on which this nation was founded. Help us to be a beacon of light shining throughout the world. Cleanse us from our sin, and guide our paths toward righteousness, we pray. In the name of Jesus, who is the Christ, we bring these prayers and petitions before You, Amen!
Please join us in prayer for President Bush and the First Lady as they travel, and for our troops and our nation!

Thank you for your faithfulness in prayer, kayak!
A beautiful prayer to which I can only add Amen.
Amen to every point. Lord, it is important that the president keeps the channels open with the European leaders. Give him the shrewdness he needs to play the game on one hand, but to get his message across loud and clear on the other. A little bit of scolding would be well in order.
We are thankful that no major terrorist incident has befallen our homeland in three years. We ask for continued wisdom and success on the part of our authorities in this regard.
Please watch over and give our troops and those of supportive nations good success. Bring hardened terrorists, especially Zarqawi, to justice, that the others would fear and people of good will would be encouraged.
Thank You for all the benefits You have lavished on our nation. Make us worthy of our calling, raise up Your church to glorify You in the way we live. In Christ's name I pray.
Heavenly Father,
