"Neither side deserves the default support of libertarians right now."

As if any one gives a damn who the libertarians support. They joined with the Greens and the Democrats in the Ohio election foolishness, so why should the Republicans care about such a marginal political movement.

There is a huge difference between the Libertarian Party, and libertarianism as a political philosophy. Most philosophical libertarians actually find the Republican Party more appealing that the Libetarian Party.

...pro-liberty groups like...the ACLU...

Who is this idiot? All I could gather from his article is that he must be a gay drug user.

I really like that the libertarians support limited government even though I won't stand for homosexuality and legalization. I believe that the libertarians need to support a true (limited government) conservative from the republican party and we might actually get something done. But if the libertarians keep pushing their candidate instead of making sure they support a true conservative republican in the primary, then the republican party is going to keep shifting to the left. I want to see a true Christian conservative statesman in office and we need some support from the libertarians to make sure this is a reality.
