YES, if he had the political will and intestinal fortitude to have a knock-down drag-out fight with the judiciary. He doesn't, and the judges have won. They are now the ultimate authority in Florida.

No, if Terri dies it's because Michael Schiavo and the judges want her to die. Jeb is doing EVERYTHING within the law to save her.

He can. Of course, a judge will rule it in contempt of court. But then, as the Governor, he is the one who enforces any judicial ruling.

So, I would imagine that the judge would have a VERY HARD TIME getting Governor Bush to order his own arrest.

Hey would you believe this: they actually arrested a guy for starving his cows. But it is ok to starve a woman? Isn't this great country or what? And....after thinking things over I can't quite figure out what Scott Peterson did wrong based on Judge Greer's laws. I am confused. Cows not ok to starve, women ok to starve (but starvation is the only acceptable means of woman disposal?) Do I have this right? A brave new world indeed, courtesy of our liberal citizens.
