This man is very dangerous. We should be paying attention to modern day "Paul Reveres" like Cliff Kincaid, who are trying to get us to realize what this man has already done, and what he plans for America.

Republican fat-cat money is always played in the press as sinister, corrupt, unfair, almost un-American; but the press has treated Soros with kid gloves, treated his huge contributions either with matter-of-fact indifference or as laudable and praiseworthy.

On March 24, that insider trading conviction was upheld.

All references to George Soros should include the qualifying phrase "convicted felon".

"The media consistently ignore the fact that this so-called 'philanthropist' has had several brushes with the law," including a conviction in France for insider trading. On March 24, that insider trading conviction was upheld."

And this is the corrupt Soros who is funding the smear campaign of Tom DeLay. While Tom has been referred to the ethics committee 3 times (by democrats), the committee has ruled INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE.

Hmmmmm? I see a projection technique in action here - Soros is blaming DeLay for what Soros is actually doing.

I was happy to see a House member of the repub party standing up to the press today and saying, without hesitation, "Tom has not done anything wrong". I can't remember what else he said - I didn't recognize him - but he was very forceful. It was refreshing!!

For those of you who didn't read all the article - these 2 paragraphs caught my eye:

"One possible reason for the gentle media coverage of Soros is the influence that Soros exercises over media groups through his money. Our report noted Soros' contributions to the Project on Media Ownership, the Independent Media Institute, the Center for Investigative Reporting, the Fund for Investigative Journalism, Investigative Reporters & Editors, and MediaChannel.org.
Soros has always exercised influence over so-called campaign finance reform groups.

Those groups were behind the McCain-Feingold bill to reform campaign spending that also put limits on the ability of independent groups to influence political races. The law included a loophole that allowed Soros to spend more than $20 million to defeat Bush."

Now I understand why McCain has been in trouble for taking $150,000 from Soros' Open Society.

Soros is the very definition of predatory corporate capitalism. The man has caused more economic suffering than many dictators have.

You ever see the movie "The Big Chill?" Very liberal, hip, swinging 60s types get together and help each other -- which means jumping into the sack with everyone and giving insider information on stocks... well, for me, that about says it all for that generation. From Kennedy and Clinton's sexploits to Soros's insider information. Kerry could be in there to, if I would think about it longer.

They should re-shoot that movie using liberal politicians. The message is that it's all about being a cool, idealistic, smarmy, dirt bag... And the should public know that those pretensions don't mean anything if you aren't rich to boot!
