Psalm 119: 45-48

I will walk about in freedom,
for I have sought out your precepts.
I will speak of your statutes before kings
and will not be put to shame,
for I delight in your commands
because I love them.
I lift up my hands to your commands, which I love,
and I meditate on your decrees.

Heavenly Father,

Your goodness and mercy towards us while we were yet sinners is beyond our understanding; but we humbly accept Your benevolence towards us. Without You we are nothing; with You we have everything we need and blessings in abundance. With grateful hearts we acknowledge that You are our Creator, our Master, and our Comforter. Lord, guide our lives that we might bring honor and glory to You, putting self aside to serve the Lord God Almighty.

Father, we lift up to You our President, a man besieged by enemies foreign and domestic, many of whom despise him simply because he speaks Your Name and is not ashamed of You. And yet, because he delights in Your commands, he not only walks in freedom but has a vision that all should do so. We thank You for bringing to us a leader at this time who would take bold steps to secure liberty for people of other nations who have long been oppressed. We pray for wisdom, discernment, courage, steadfastness, patience, and peace for President Bush. Let him always look to You for guidance and seek out Your will. Continue to bless Laura and their daughters and draw them ever closer to You. Form a hedge of protection around them that no weapon formed against them may prosper.

Lord, we hear of the deeds of our military and we are in awe of their bravery and dedication. Let their noble missions succeed as they struggle against the forces of darkness. Keep them in the palm of Your Hand and bring them home safely to their loved ones.

Let the people of Afghanistan and Iraq, whose freedom has been bought at a dear price, use their new liberty wisely and not fall back into despotism and brutality. Nurture their fledling governments and let them mature into countries which can fulfill their promise. And, Father, we dare to pray that their freedom might extend to faith, that they may hear Your Story and come to know and love You as we do. We long for the day when the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be spread among all the peoples of the world.

Lord, though the Psalmist praises Your Word, many in our land have turned from Your commandments. They seek the pleasure of the moment rather than the eternal joy of salvation and fellowship with You. And we, as Your remnant, confess that we have sat by and let much of this happen under our very noses, not realizing just how far it would go. Forgive us, O Lord, and revive us. Turn us back towards Your statutes that we might, as a nation, delight in doing Your will. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

AMEN KAYAK!

Mt 7:1 "Judge not, that you be not judged.
2 "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
3 "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
4 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye?
5 "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
6 "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
8 "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
9 "Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
10 "Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
14 "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 "You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
17 "Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 "A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19 "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 "Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
25 "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
27 "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."
28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,
29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
(NKJV)

"Him hath God exalted."
- Acts 5:31

Jesus, our Lord, once crucified, dead and buried, now sits upon the throne
of glory. The highest place that heaven affords is his by undisputed
right. It is sweet to remember that the exaltation of Christ in heaven is
a representative exaltation. He is exalted at the Father's right hand, and
though as Jehovah he had eminent glories, in which finite creatures cannot
share, yet as the Mediator, the honours which Jesus wears in heaven are
the heritage of all the saints. It is delightful to reflect how close is
Christ's union with his people. We are actually one with him; we are
members of his body; and his exaltation is our exaltation. He will give us
to sit upon his throne, even as he has overcome, and is set down with his
Father on his throne; he has a crown, and he gives us crowns too; he has a
throne, but he is not content with having a throne to himself, on his
right hand there must be his queen, arrayed in "gold of Ophir." He cannot
be glorified without his bride. Look up, believer, to Jesus now; let the
eye of your faith behold him with many crowns upon his head; and remember
that you will one day be like him, when you shall see him as he is; you
shall not be so great as he is, you shall not be so divine, but still you
shall, in a measure, share the same honours, and enjoy the same happiness
and the same dignity which he possesses.
Be content to live unknown for a little while, and to walk your weary way
through the fields of poverty, or up the hills of affliction; for
by-and-by you shall reign with Christ, for he has "made us kings and
priests unto God, and we shall reign for ever and ever.
" Oh!, wonderful thought for the children of God! We have Christ for our
glorious representative in heaven's courts now, and soon he will come and
receive us to himself, to be with him there, to behold his glory, and to
share his joy.

"May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, glorified, loved and preserved throughout the world now and forever Amen."

Dear Jesus, bless this great nation of ours. How fortunate are we, to be able to speak of or for anything that one's heart desires dictates. May we never abuse this privilege, those of us who have, may You, dear Jesus forgive us our transgressions...So many times has it been repeated that this earthly power is so fleeting, getting to know and love You is all that matters....Spending eternity with You is our cherished goal...Help us in all our endeavors, in Jesus' name we pray

Thank you, Kayak. I am in agreement with your prayers.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." We, your people, declare that you are Lord and receive Your blessings.

Thank You for the exceeding great privilege of entering Your throne room and praying according to Your will. As members of the royal priesthood, we offer these sacrifices made acceptable because of the blood of Jesus. Thank You for all You are doing for our President, his family and administration and for showing us undeserved mercy by drawing millions into the Kingdom of God.

We love You, in Jesus' name. Amen.
