Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,
who daily bears our burdens.
Your Name is Wonderful; Your goodness is vast; and Your mercy is boundless. Though we are sinful, You loved us enough to send Your Son to die for us on the Cross of Calvary. Lord, we can but join the countless others through history who have said "I believe; help me in my unbelief." We strive but our efforts are weak. Yet You are always there for us -- guiding us, chastising us, supporting us, teaching us, loving us. Our hearts are filled with shame that we fall short of Your glory and yet they are also filled with joy that You forgive us and accept us into Your family. Praised be Your hallowed Name!
Lord, if anyone bears heavy burdens, it is our President. Having seen our beloved nation come under attack, he has tried valiantly to fight the enemy who would destroy our very way of life; and yet he has been met with resistance from surprising corners. He has come under personal attack as no president ever before and yet he has remained steadfast. He has tried to change the political air in Washington and has been thwarted by those who wish nothing more than to bring him down. He has been reviled by many, both foreign and domestic. And yet he still maintains a joy and a goodness that comes only from You. He does not retaliate against those who speak ill of him but tries to reach out to them. His witness is strong and yet it only subjects him to more invective. Continue to counsel him with Your wisdom and to write Your words and Your ways into his heart. Let him stay true to Your tenets though his temptation must be to lash out at those whose only purpose seems to be to discredit him. Grant him patience, discernment, peace, and love, O Lord, and continue to shine Your face upon him. Bless his family and lead them down the path of righteousness. We especially lift up his mother, Barbara, whose birthday was on Wednesday. We thank You for the blessing that she has been to our nation as both the wife and the mother of Presidents. Keep Laura and the twins under the shadow of Your wings, safe from all harm.
Lord, we are always mindful of those in our military, whether at home or abroad. They give up so much in service to our nation and we show them too little appreciation. Watch over those who are in hostile lands; be their Shield and Defender. Hold their families close and guide them as they go through each day concerned about the well-being of their loved ones. Let those whose heroes have fallen know of Your presence and Your great love for them that they may find some consolation in their grief.
We thank You for the strong allies that we have such as Great Britain, Australia, Poland, and other nations who fight with us against terrorism. Their sacrifices have been great yet their friendship has remained strong.
Father, we pray for those in our governments, whether local or national. Let them put aside their own ambitions and seek to do what is best for all. Let their agenda be Yours, O Lord, and not their own greedy wants and desires. Place in them a desire to seek a culture of life, protecting the unborn. Forgive us, O Lord, and revive us that we may bring honor and glory to Your Name. In the Name and for the sake of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Please, dear God, protect our President and his family, give him and his advisers continued wisdom and courage in the face of the critics, and help them be pursuasive to keep the American people by their side.
And give wisdom to the American people to see his devotion to the US and the American people, and see through the lies of the critics.
Lift up our hearts, O King of kings,
To brighter hopes and kindlier things;
To visions of a larger good,
And holier dreams of brotherhood.
Thy world is weary of its pain;
Of selfish greed and fruitless gain;
Of tarnished honor, falsely strong,
And all its ancient deeds of wrong.
Hear Thou the prayer Thy servants pray,
Uprising from all lands today,
And oer the vanquished powers of sin,
O bring Thy great salvation in.

"The Lord hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad."
- Psalm 126:3
Some Christians are sadly prone to look on the dark side of everything,
and to dwell more upon what they have gone through than upon what God has
done for them. Ask for their impression of the Christian life, and they
will describe their continual conflicts, their deep afflictions, their sad
adversities, and the sinfulness of their hearts, yet with scarcely any
allusion to the mercy and help which God has vouchsafed them. But a
Christian whose soul is in a healthy state, will come forward joyously,
and say, "I will speak, not about myself, but to the honour of my God. He
hath brought me up out of an horrible pit, and out of the miry clay, and
set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings: and he hath put a new
song in my mouth, even praise unto our God. The Lord hath done great
things for me, whereof I am glad." Such an abstract of experience as this
is the very best that any child of God can present. It is true that we
endure trials, but it is just as true that we are delivered out of them.
It is true that we have our corruptions, and mournfully do we know this,
but it is quite as true that we have an all-sufficient Saviour, who
overcomes these corruptions, and delivers us from their dominion. In
looking back, it would be wrong to deny that we have been in the Slough of
Despond, and have crept along the Valley of Humiliation, but it would be
equally wicked to forget that we have been through them safely and
profitably; we have not remained in them, thanks to our Almighty Helper
and Leader, who has brought us "out into a wealthy place.
" The deeper our troubles, the louder our thanks to God, who has led us
through all, and preserved us until now.
Our griefs cannot mar the melody of our praise, we reckon them to be the
bass part of our life's song, "He hath done great things for us, whereof
we are glad.

GODBLESS OUR PRESIDENT,HIS FAMILY,OUR TROOPS AND THIS COUNTRY!
Agreeing with your Lovely Prayer, and Praising our God with you!
O Lord, help our President to cast all his burdens upon You, for You will sustain him. You will lead him with the right hand of Your righteousness. Thank You for Your faithfulness to him in times of plenty and in times of want. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
Amen. Thank you, Kayak.
I continue to bless You, Father, because you have anointed this man to be our President at this time. Because he has Your calling and ability, I believe that You will show him by Your Spirit of Truth things that are to come and give him a vision for this nation and solutions for its problems. It is not in man, but in You that we trust.
We appreciate Your great goodness towards us, Father, that we live where we do at the time that we do. We are honored to be called Sons of God and thank You for it.
In Jesus' name, Amen
Dear Jesus, as we approach the summer season, when many families will be enjoying their well earned vacations, may we strive to keep You uppermost in our minds and hearts....We pray earnestly for the good health of our President, that he may endure the negativism that is cast his way. We know, dear Jesus, it is You who sustains him in all his endeavors...May he continue to have trust in only You. Bless his Cabinet of officers, may they work alongside him in bringing about justice for all.......May the Media soften it's barbs, we are at a crucial threshold, may we seek the right path to achieve success...............Many unspoken 'Thank Yous' to our service people abroad. If not for their sacrifices, we would not be enjoying the freedom that we have in this nation..To be able to voice your opinion without suffering consequences speaks highly of our Nations freedom...Dear Jesus, continue to bless this nation abundantly, forgive us for our transgressions and deliver us from all evil....In Jesus' name we pray
