Nothing wrong with free trade, as long as it's with countries that deserve it. The "free trade at any cost" people are nuts.

CNOOC's bid for Unocal is backed partly by zero interest loans supplied by the Chinese government. All who claim that the US government should stand aside and allow the bid to go through in the name of free trade are either ignorant of the facts or torturing the truth to the point of being treasonous. This bid has absolutely nothing to do with free market economics.
