Invade Syria and Iran - a letter to editor

Dear Editor:

Syria and Iran are backing a guerilla war against American and Great Britain. Invade Syria and Iran. The demons of the Middle East - Syria and Iran - call Western people "infidels." There are enough words in my vocabulary to describe these terrorists and idiots.

Also, a general who gets on television and runs his big mouth from North Korea says that North Korea plans on committing mass murder against our people. I think this general is a big-mouth.

I served in the infantry for two tours in the Vietnam War. I only regret that I'm not young enough to serve this great country once again.

Syria and Iran are trying to use the same tactics against the American soldiers that were used in the Vietnam War. Syria and Iran are rogue countries that need to be dealt with. You meet violence with violence.

But this time God..lets not stay. Just bat em around, thin em back and come home. Let the ones with the most sand emerge from the rubble.

Everybody has freedom to speak so there is no reason to invade those two countries.
In New Testament, Jesus did not go to the hostile village to preach. Jesus preached to a woman who lived in a hostile village and then that woman went back to spread Jesus' word. For hostile area, Jesus' word needs to be distributed indirectly, to special persons, at special timing.

Sorry, but that is not going to happen. If we go in we are going to have to stay, and like Japan and Germany after WWII we will be responsible. This might have much wider consequences than just those two countries. We don't know what the rest of the Arab will react and most certainly we will need most of our reserves and maybe a small draft to accomplish the task. What choice do we have, if they are providing aid and comfort to our enemy. They have made themselves our enemy. Here is rub, either we are going fight this war or we going end up with a failure, an Iraq split into three parts with Iran having influence over the south, Syria over the middle, and a Turkey and the Kurds wrangling over the North.

There are some very good reads about the possibility of Syria first and Iran by the previous three (A,I,Syrian) military actions and pressure. This is realistic scenario, not sure I've our government/people are up to it.

Extremists hurt innocent people and should be punished. Nevertheless, not all the people in those countries are extremists in action.

I prefer to meet violence with an overwhelming force of complete and utter destruction.

For hostile area, Jesus' word needs to be distributed indirectly, to special persons, at special timing.

You can't do that in Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. because they will execute you, and your family.
