I remember when mujahadeen were freedom fighters working with the US to rid Afghanistan (and other places) of commies trying to take over. Much like portrayed in a Clancy novel or a Stallone movie. Then the Taliban moved in on them. Sigh.
The Muj were always scum.
They blasted Kabul to the tune of 50,000 dead from 92-95.
Should have let the USSR deal with them.
